Growing Disney teen star Selena Gomez, 16, enjoys a rare day off at the beach, looking gorgeous in a paisley bikini. Selena, who is dating Nick Jonas, 15, of the Jonas Brothers band, will soon work on her very first album.
"I'm going to be in a band; no Selena Gomez stuff," says Selena. "I'm not going to be a solo artist. I think that I don't want my name attached to it." Gomez, who stars in the hit Disney show The Wizards of Waverly Place, wants her debut LP to have a pop/rock feel.
"I want to make music that is fun and that parents and kids can jump around to and have a good time to," she says. "I will be singing, and I'm learning drums and playing electric guitar."
Recently, her boyfriend Nick's brother, Kevin Jonas, 20, caused a stir when he sported a T-shirt with the logo Team Demi and Selena. The T-shirt is a mention to the rumored feud between Selena and reigning Disney teen queen, Miley Cyrus, 16, who previously dated Nick.

Miley and her BF Mandy ignite a junior catfight when they posted a video (made several months ago) on YouTube in which Miley and Mandy made fun of Selena's clothes and her BF Demi Lovato's gap teeth. While Nick won't confirm or deny his rumored romance, he said she is "amazing girl" that anyone would be lucky to date.
